“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Soon after the news of the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade reversal erupted last Friday, I received this text from a dear friend and Wesleyan pastor:

“With the decision that went forth today, I’m going to need a LOT MORE help!”

I knew exactly what she meant. Earlier in the week, I had met with her to discuss her passion to develop a ministry for single moms and help her discern next steps. This historic event should embolden each of us, as Christians committed to the sanctity of human life. Though an important component of our conviction, we realize a holistic commitment to life must go beyond the opposition of abortion.
