FAMILY GRANTS

Funding for Wesleyan families pursuing adoption or seeking support for their family impacted by adoption, foster care and special needs 

Adoption Grant

Adoption grants and interest-free loans help to make adoption affordable and provide a child in need with a long, Christian family. Grant amounts vary, according to financial need and available funding.

Post-adoption support grants equip struggling families with qualifying counseling and therapies not covered by health insurance. Grant amounts vary, according to financial need and available funding.

Parent Support Grant

Families impacted by special needs, foster care and adoption often face unique challenges that may threaten to tear them apart. We aim to remove the financial barrier to help struggling single and married parents attend events that are designed for physical, spiritual, and relational renewal, to send them home encouraged, refreshed, and with new tools for the next season of their parenting journey. Qualifying families my receive up to $1000.

Trauma Free World Training

We are convinced that trauma-informed care is a crucial part of holistic discipleship and are excited to partner with Trauma Free World to offer quality training from a biblical worldview, to assist you in engaging most effectively with children and adults. A 30-minute Volunteer + 30-Minute Short Term Mission Training is available for all Wesleyan churches and an additional 3 hour in-depth training is available as a benefit for Hephzibah62:4 Partner Churches.

Church Ministry Essentials Course

This on-demand course from Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) focuses on building an “everyone can do something” culture in your foster care, adoption, and support ministry. Church Ministry Essentials is an immersive learning experience that will introduce you to the principles, practices, and people you need to take your next best steps forward in this specialized area of ministry. CAFO has generously offered FREE subscriptions (valued at $99) to this 10-module course for our Hephzibah62:4 Wesleyan Partner Church staff and lay leaders.

Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) Essentials Course

This unique on demand course provides insights and best practices on the care of vulnerable children from a Christian worldview that can be applied to current and future ministries, careers and families. Grant opportunities are available for Wesleyan university students and staff, as well as Hephzibah62:4 Wesleyan Partner Church staff and lay leaders. Pre-qualified grant recipients will be reimbursed course tuition upon providing a certificate of completion.

CONFERENCE GRANTS

Funding to help your church staff and lay leaders attend excellent in-person events

Note: Church may choose to use conference grants for one conference per partnership year

Christian Alliance for Orphans’ (CAFO) Summit Grant

Hephzibah62:4 has chosen the CAFO Summit as an annual gathering place each September for Wesleyan pastors and lay leaders to be inspired, encouraged and gain insight into best practices in caring for vulnerable children and expanding ministry to vulnerable children through their local church. Event grants are available annually for Hephzibah62:4 Wesleyan Partner Church staff and lay leaders. Eligible church leaders may receive up to $600.

Disability & The Church (DATC) Conference Grant

Key Ministry, in collaboration with the Tim Tebow Foundation, annually presents this excellent in-person conference. SAVE THE DATE for the next Disability & The Church, May 1-3, 2024 in Orlando! This conferences addresses a variety of topics related to disability, mental health and effective church inclusion. Hephzibah62:4 plans to offer grants to Hephzibah62:4 Wesleyan Partner Church staff and lay leaders, beginning with the 2024 conference. Eligible church leaders may receive up to $600.

MINISTRY GRANTS

Funding to help you seed, grow, deepen and sustain effective church-based ministries

Note: At this time, qualified churches are limited to one grant in this category per year  

Project62:4 Grant

For Hephzibah62:4 Partner Churches at any level

Project62:4 Grants are designed for churches for which low-budget, short-term ministry projects will help build or sustain momentum in developing church culture and long-term ministry around transforming the lives of vulnerable children. Approved applicants will be eligible for up to $250 in project seed money.

Hephzibah62:4 & CMC Church Plant Grant

For Wesleyan church plants < 3 years since launch

Hephzibah62:4 and the Church Multiplication Collective are partnering to provide grant funding for church plants committed to organized ministry which aims to transform the lives of vulnerable children in their local community. Qualified church plants are eligible for up to $9000 in ministry grant funding, paid in three annual installments.

Church Ministry Grant

For Wesleyan churches > 3 years old

Hephzibah62:4 desires to provide grant funding to under-resourced established churches committed to organized ministry which aims to transform the lives of vulnerable children in their local community. Approved Hephzibah62:4 Partner Churches will be eligible for up to $5000 in ministry grant funding. Applications will be accepted once per year between March 1 and April 30, beginning in 2024. Applicants will be notified of their status by July 1 and awarded monies will be mailed by July 31.
